Motorola has been a hit with buyers in India, thanks to their offering of affordable smartphones running on almost-stock Android OS and their ability to provide an OS update to the devices, sooner than the competition. And now, the company has started to roll out the much awaited Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the Moto G smartphones in India.
Both the Motorola Moto G 1st and 2nd generation are now getting the Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update which will bring them a whole new UI with Google’s Material Design. Apart from this, there are new features like, Flashlight, which is now a part of the Quick Settings options.
While your phone’s display is off, Moto Display will continue to surface relevant notifications to you using the low-power Contextual Computing Processor. It will also intelligently react when you use the Approach gesture under Moto Actions. There is a new battery saver mode which will go on to save power by reducing performance and background tasks.
