Taiwanese tech giant Asus has in Malaysia announced the launch of a new smartphone called the Asus Zenfone C, which seems to be a variant of the Asus Zenfone 4 and goes on to carry almost similar specifications but runs on the Intel Atom Z2520 processor clocking in at 1.2GHz.
The Asus Zenfone C carried the variant number ZC451CG and comes with a 4.5 inch FWVGA display (854 x 480 pixels while having 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage and an option to expand the same using a microSD card slot. The phone has a 5 megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and a VGA front facing shooter while running on Android 4.4 KitKat OS with the Zen UI on the top of it.
2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3.5mm audio jack complete the connectivity options while the Asus Zenfone C is powered by a 2100 mAh battery. To be available in Malaysia for RM349 or about Rs.6000, the Asus Zenfone C will be available in Red, Black and Red color options.
