A smartphone for Rs.251? Well, yes. Freedom 251, made by Ringing Bells is the device which has been launched for Rs.251 and comes with some impressive specifications.

To start with, the Freedom 251 has a decent 4 inch qHD display and is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB of internal storage. Running on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, the phone will 3.2 MP rear camera and VGA front camera. All of this will be powered by a 1450 mAh battery.

With 1 year warranty and over 650 service centers in India, the smartphone will be available for ordering at starting 6 AM on February 18th at and will be open till 21st February at 8PM.But the  phone will be delivered only by June 30th 2016 to the buyers.

Our Take on the Freedom 251:

Overall, the phone looks great and the specifications lovely but how well the phone will fare in daily life conditions needs to be seen.
