Honor 6X with dual-camera setup launched in India


The time of smartphones with dual-camera setup has come. And today, Huawei’s Honor brand has announced the launch of the Honor 6X in India for price starting at Rs,12,999.

Specifications of Honor 6X include a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display with 2.5D curved glass and is powered by the Kirin 655 Octa Core processor with 4 x 2.1GHz + 4 x 1.7GHz setup. The onboard RAM and Storage configuration is 3GB RAM with 32GB storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB of internal memory. This will be expandable up to 128GB with microSD

The Honor 6X comes with a 12 MP primary camera which is coupled with a 2 MP secondary camera on the rear which helps you to dig in and play with shallow depth of field, change the focus after the image is clicked. The camera has 6P lens and phase detection autofocus (PDAF) supported by LED flash. There is an 8 MP front facing camera for the camera freaks.

The show on the smartphone is run by Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with EMUI v4.1 on top. Honor 6X will get the Android Nougat update soon, as per the company. There is a fingerprint sensor on the back of the device and the connectivity options include the usual 2G, 3G, 4G VoLTE,
4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1. Powered by a powerful non-removeable 3340 mAh battery with fast charging, users should be able to get through the day without looking for the charger.
