The new Xperia smartphone is finding it way into the Indian market called the Sony Xperia M5, just before the flagship Sony Xperia Z5 makes its entry.

The Sony Xperia M5 was announced earlier last month and the device comes with some impressive specifciations. Starting with a 5 inch full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display, the Sony Xperia M5 is powered by Octa-Core 64 bit MediaTek Helio X10 processor clocking at 2 GHz, coupled with 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 128 GB.

The Sony Xperia M5 comes with IP65 and IP68 Ingress rating making it dust and waterproof. Running on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS, the Sony Xperia M5 carries a new 21.5 megapixel camera which “Hybrid Autofocus” which can click an image as fast as in 0.26 seconds. There is also a lovely 13 megapixel front facing camera for the selfie lovers.

All the show on the Sony Xperia M5 is run by a decent 2600 mAh battery and the connectivity options include 2G, 3G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS amongst others.
