Xiaomi Redmi 2 launched in India for Rs.6,999


Chinese trach giant Xiaomi just announced the launched the Xiaomi MiPad in India and alongside it, the company has also announced the Xiaomi Redmi 2 for buyers in India.

The Xiaomi Redmi 2 comes with a 4.7-inch IPS display and has AGC Dragontrail Glass protection and resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The phone is powered by 64 bit quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor clocking at 1.2 GHz. The processor is coupled with 1 GB RAM and the phone has 8 GB of internal storage which can futher be expandable using a microSD card.

The Xiaomi Redmi 2 comes with an 8 megapixel camera on the back and 2 megapixel front facing camera. The phone runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS with MiUI v6 on the top of it. The Xiaomi Redmi 2 comes with Dual-SIM connectivity and supports 4G LTE in both the SIMs in India.
