XOLO is well-known for its smartphones being powered on Intel’s processors but today, the company has announced the launch of the XOLO Q900s which is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor. The phone is the Android version of the XOLO Win Q990s, which runs on Windows Phone 8.1 and was launched last month.
The XOLO Q900s comes with a 4.7 inch multi-touch IPS OGS display with scratch resistant DragonTrail Glass with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels while it is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor clocking at 1.2 GHz, coupled with 1 GB of RAM while having 8 GB of internal memory which is expandable using a microSD card slot. The XOLO Q900s runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS while being upgradable to Android 4.4 KitKat OS.
There is an 8 MP camera with PureCel sensor and LED flash on the back while there is an 2 MP front facing camera. The XOLO Q900s is considered as the World’s lightest smartphone according to the company and weighs just 100 grams. It arrives with 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and 3.5mm audio jack when we talk about connectivity options. The phone is powered by a 1800 mAh battery and will be available in Black colour option for Rs.9999 soon.
